Position: Driver
This is a per-diem (as-needed) position, hours will vary, but some weekend availability is required.
This position is responsible for Driving Golden Days vehicles, in-order-to transport our clients to various locations, during the day. Our clients travel to Doctor’s appointments, Day Programs, Special Events and various errands throughout the day, as well.
Essential Functions:
- Drive clients to various locations on a regular schedule.
- Drives Residents to activities as assigned.
- Drives Residents to medical and dental appointments.
- Performs routine maintenance to vehicles and buses, checking engine fluid levels, checking other mechanical functions, keeping vehicles full of gasoline, and maintaining the cleanliness of the interior.
Qualifications and License Requirements:
- Must have computer skills to access the company’s Portal, accomplish tasks such as work orders and away forms, communicate effectively with residents and co-workers, and assist residents as needed.
- Must have ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff in English, both written and verbal.
- Responsible for making sure that the vehicles are clean inside and maintained.
- Must have experience driving vans.
- Driver should be able to lift up to 50 pounds
